Winter is a “bad time” to list, right?
Not necessarily. Winter can actually be a great time for sellers. Less competition because there are fewer listings. Motivated buyers who are on a timeline because of job moves, life changes, or firm plans. Cozy showings where a warm, well cared for home feels even more inviting.
Want to know if winter is a smart move for your home? Send me a DM. I’m happy to talk it through.

📊 December Sarnia Lambton Market Snapshot 🏡
The December market showed some seasonal softness, but there's still plenty of opportunity for sellers and buyers who know what they're doing!
Here's what happened:
• 91 new listings hit the market (down 9.90%)
• 66 homes sold (down 23.26% , typical for winter months)
• Median sale price: $440,000
• Year-to-date median: $475,000 (holding steady!)
What's interesting? Bungalows dominated with 38 sales averaging $525,323, while split-level homes showed some of the strongest pricing at up to $615,000.
The takeaway? December's slower pace doesn't mean homes aren't selling. It means the homes that ARE selling are the ones positioned right and marketed smart. If you're thinking about listing in 2026, now's the time to chat about strategy.
Let's talk! 📞 Give me a call or send a message, I'd love to help you navigate this market.
